Easy Cat Painting

This might be the easiest painting I've ever done. And it's cats. And they're cute.

Materials list:

• Paper/card
• Acrylic paint
• Paintbrush
• Firm folded piece of card

Step 1.

Choose your paint colours. Paint a curve onto your paper. Use plenty of paint! (More paint than I used in this picture. I did not use enough on my first cat).

Step 2.

Fold a piece of card in half. Using the folded edge of your card, pull the paint downwards to the bottom of your page.

Step 3.

Paint more curves in different colours across your page. Using the card, pull each one down to make your cat bodies.

Step 4.

Once your paint has dried, take a small paintbrush and add the eyes, noses and whiskers.

Step 5.

Wait for it to dry and then enjoy your painting! This would make a great greetings card for a cat lover. You can even experiment with different animals. Owls would also work well with this technique.
